It’s a tongue in cheek title, but now that I’ve got your attention, let me explain that the audio from this podcast is pretty bad – it sounds like they interviewed in outer space. I didn’t know I had a ground fault in my equipment until well after Robert was gone, and removing it makes the audio sound other-worldly.

Robert Costanza, the current chair of the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics, met with Jeanette prior to speaking to a packed lecture hall at Victoria University. The Green party sponsored visit was a huge success, and a video link will be updated to this post as soon as the editing is done.

Jeanette asks Costanza what we need to do to solve the twin crises of economic and environmental degradation, and the role of the Green New Deal in sorting out both messes simultaneously.

In keeping with the Green Party’s kaupapa, the podcast is here in open format:

Fitzsimons interviews Costanza(.ogg Vorbis format, 7.7 Mb)

For those of you locked into a proprietary format:

Fitzsimons interviews Costanza (.mp3 format, 7.6 Mb)

Enjoy!
