  The representatives at the embassy apparently claimed they were ‘not in a position’ to receive the satirical award, and said that the responsible person was ‘not in the office’. The bizarre thing was that they then asked the group to leave, claiming to be on ‘high terror alert’. read more

  Dear Phil, I am deeply disappointed you are letting Nick Smith’s electioneering define the Labour party, and apologising for that definition. It is hard to see how Labour will ever have an independent identity if it leaps to deny sensible policy whenever National attacks it.
