I see Stuff states there are “about 170 delegates at the party’s annual conference in Christchurch today”.
I guess the party will never need a big convention centre (like the one arranged for Auckland recently,) for its annual conferences, making such places ideal for criticism, despite the deal being for the same as given by a past Labour government for a much smaller centre!
Perhaps its time the party learned how to throw a party and get some supporters out to show their backing!
