  1. Horrendous weather in Whangarei, but 140 keen and eager people marched to the NRC building and around the town to show opposition to their stance on GMOs in Northland. All three district councils under their jurisdiction voted to put controls on GMOs in Northland – but the RC did not!

    Many people came forward to sign the petition and almost every car tooted in support.
