In the House this week in response to questions from Metiria, John Key gave us an insight into his aspirations, which centred on golf courses and holidays. National ministers have been casting aspersions on the opposition by creating straw man fantasy worlds Planet Labour and Planet Green. Sick of Ministers misrepresenting our positions Metiria struck back. John Armstrong in the Herald today summarises it well:
“John Key has been accused of lacking vision. But his mind-boggling version of nirvana is looking more akin to The Stepford Wives. Even scarier, there has not been a word so far from him on how to pay for it.”
What is disconcerting about his ambition is the massive disconnect between Key’s aspirations and the country he governs. Perhaps Key has been listening to too much Blam Blam Blam and isn’t aware of how hard it is for so many right now. Instead of dreaming about golfing holiday’s we need our Government to be creating jobs that help our people and our planet.

Frog reinforces the notion of “Planet Green” with “What is disconcerting about his ambition is the massive disconnect between Key’s aspirations and the country he governs.”
If you think Key’s world where no one had to work and there are no toilets was actually serious, then you are definitely on another planet.

As an aside, Key’s ungentlemanly slagging of Metiria, where he called her “barking mad” passed without much comment. What a Prime Minister he is! What an admirable character our John Key shows himself to be! How proud we are to have a man possessed of such gravitas as our leader, using such language in the House, addressing a woman, a leader of a political party, in such a manner. On Planet Key it seems, where there are no toilets, you can still be an arsehole.

Yes I think Mr Key & his cronies have spent too long on ‘millionaires row’ they have lost touch with the planet most of us live on.. Planet EARTH !
I for one would gladly see him rule his own planet.. then we Kiwis can get back to reality.. ‘Planet Key’: “WHAT A JOKE alright !!”

Grenfly says “As an aside, Key’s ungentlemanly slagging of Metiria, where he called her “barking mad” ”
So in a time when we need to tighten our belts, Metiria’s idea of welfare for all families including the rich, the very rich, and the super rich, is sane – I think not.
What other schemes do the Greens have for a lolly scramble of taxpayer dollars to people who don’t need it?

Key’s ‘no shit-houses on my
golf courseplanet’ indicates that he has tightened his own belt too much and that he shouldn’t wear his trousers pulled up so high – he’s cut off the circulation to his brain.Like or Dislike:
