Keith Locke, good to see you at the Launch of the Women’s Suffrage Petition reminding the Auckland Council that they had organized a space in Lower Khartoum Place for a Suffrage Memorial commemmorating the 100 years since NZ women gained the vote.
Now, thanks to Dame Jenny Gibbs and her cohorts on the Gallery Arts Panel, there are moves to try to move the Memorial. There has been a stay by Council on this ‘move’ but Council refuses to state categorically that this space, designed specially for the Suffrage Memorial in Lower Khartoum Place, remains in perpetuity for that purpose. I don’t trust this Council and certainly not any Council that Rodney Hide would support with John Banks in it, so let’s hope Len Brown succeeds as Mayor and then we need to impress upon him to sign on the dotted line that this space, in Lower Khartoum Place belongs, as it did in 1993 and now in 2010 to the memory of women who fought for the vote for women and signed a petition to present to Parliament.
Anyone who believes in equality for women and men, needs to sign this petition.
This needs to be a Local Government election issue, for the sake of our daughters and our sons.
Can anybody tell me anything about how Quotable Value establishes legitimate value for rates revaluations and whether this can be corrupted by political interference at either local or national level?

From where S59 originated for the protectionof our children and from my investiagtions not a mention by the Greens on this.
Evidence of references to child- abuse investigation as not being “real policing” and to child-abuse investigators as “poor cousins”. No wonder we have an issue regarding the value that children have in our society.
So no comment from any I can see from the left, well it seems as if there are more important things to do like traffic, or hiding files so they dont exist to help police statistics.
So S59 was all just part of the game and it looks good atthe UN, and we will not be found out and be called on in action? MIA I think

Mark,
Just had an interesting discussion. I am thinking that I may end up studying it. The first massive group study of group behavior manipulation. Would be very controversial, very interesting.
On the whole the approach is behaviorally sound and theoretically should be rather effective but produce an initial surge before it drops away. It will be so interesting exactly because there is so little literature on even moderately large groups, and this one would be a group of hundreds of thousands potentially; its unprecedented. With such a large group its so complex that one can hardly predict the effect with any real accuracy.

Though in this situation its more:
“They came for our freedom to cause offense, but i did not want to offend so I stood silent,
They came for our freedom to dissent politically, but i did not want to dissent so I stood silent,
They came for our freedom to wear two pieces, but i did not like the skinny girls in two pieces enough to justify the fat girls in two pieces so I stood silent,
They came for our freedom to came for my budgy smugler, but i did not wear it so I stood silent,
They came for our freedom to wear provocative clothing, but i did not like not being able to have my way despite being so turned on so I stood silent,
They came for our freedom to procreate outside of wedlock, but i could not so I stood silent,
They came for our freedom to oggle the other sex, I objected, but I was blind; i could do very little.”

We make humanoids automatically…. somehow or other 2 units that may be differentiated by shape and dress succeed in creating small, slowly growing pre-humans within a year of encountering one another. Not all such encounters appear to be successful but no technical intervention appears to be required. This method appears to be successful in that these humanoids are able to replace the originals and more, and have spread to cover the entirety of the habitable earth and Australia.

Have a look at this video of the oil leaking out

Just for fun, we will say Eomaia. You may find that word a little more shrewish.

I am not shrewish Sapient, though I have heard about the king of the shrews

Shunda,
You may not be shrewish, but that word/designation is certainly “not easily manipulated”.
I may have a trail of shrews behind me, but I would not go so far as to call myself King, certainly not an exalted one; more a target of assassination.

MIA I think

Kilt! – I’m thinking ‘jilt’ and don’t talk to me about ‘dead in bed’ – it’s been a long, long couple of decades.
The jonkey failed on the day I bought it but it was so hard to detach I had to wear it for almost three years and oh, how it chaffed!

Pacific Bluefin Tuna; smoked or with a sweet chili sauce/marinade.
Yum. The only meat I buy; my favorite.
Beets those silly tetra-pods fins down! Not even pastrami, shaved ham, or a good salami can compare! Steak? Who needs it?

Mark,
Just had an interesting discussion.

Mark,
I quote that piece frequently.

I decided to hunt for our turban wearing friend. The first part of the job was to leave the post-grad computer room where everyone else was wearing turbans. I eventually found him in the my department’s post-grad room.
He did not mind my presence at first.
But then I suggested the virgins might be white raisins.
Turns out heaven is real, cant work out why I am here though.
