Political blogging can leave a frog feeling swamped sometimes. Reporting on the murky business of the House, the state of our rivers or the behaviour of some of those who make decisions for our country, can weigh heavy on us all, so I’d like to try a little experiment in lifting my spirits and yours, by sharing the occasional non-political, purely for enjoyment, photo that I’ve taken on and around my favourite real-word pond.
This one, showing the unsullied interior of a water lily flower is just the kind of image that reminds us that while the hurly-burly of the world goes on, there are places that are calm, refreshing and, well, perfect!

That is a very beautiful Photo Frog. I can appreciate the micro photography as well as panaramic scenary like mosses and moulds and the eccentric little creatures that live on them. Try out mosses on the shady side of your house on the pathway you will discover a whole different world!
