Overnight frogblog clocked over 100,000 comments (if you were to count them on the blog you’d find somewhat fewer, because spam and grossly offensive comments have been moderated out).
So what was the profound gem that took us over the mark?
I think more and more people are coming over from the dark doomsaying side and into the light. CO2 emmissions hysteria will be consigned to history.
Sorry, denialist nonsense – no prize for that.
So the chocolate frog goes to bjchip for his response, which was comment 100,003:
The Scientists and Mother Earth do not care what “more and more people” believe. There is no reason whatsoever to be optimistic about what Mother is going to do to us if we ignore the warnings already given.
People will eventually get wise to the lies of CEI et.al. I don’t think that big money and big oil will be able to conceal reality with obfuscation as the temperature continues to push upward.

Farrar is trying to smear the Greens yet again over on Fartblog – this time he’s misrepresenting Jeanette. If you are interested …

Smear comes from Fear Fly; I saw Farrar on the Telly the other night – looks like you’d need a block and tackle to haul a smile to his face….no I’m still not going there – not unless I have to….you know, like the Morgue !

congratulations frogblog!
You, too, BJChip.. and in what I suspect a thread enabling some clearout. In doing so it certainly helped me to assess commenters..
to you and all your ‘folks’ happy holidays! stay safe, find friends and… the next decade’s responsible mobility.

I’ve just been back to look at the first ever 30 posts on the blog, starting March 10 2005. Altogether, they attracted a total of 7 comments.
Haven’t we done well! [Says frog, enthusiastically patting own head in self-congratulatory indulgence. Well, I'm allowed - the festive season is upon us, after all.]

Yes I’ll remember your Contribution in my Annual Christmas Address from the Speakers Chair……times TBA.
Christmas Day is good, but the Family all want to come, and they can’t keep quiet – trying to bust each other with the Mace, spilling red wine all over Hansard….etc etc.
I like a good day in the House but.
(i’ve PAID for it!)

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL
I wish Frog, Bj, Greenfly and all the rest of the comrades a very joyfull Christmas and relaxing New year.
As for the 100,000 that is just great and I think that should largely be attributed to the professionalism of the way this blogsite has been set up.
Ask yourselves, how many blogsites have a thumbs up and down?
I don’t know of any and the credit has to go to Frog.

Erk! Locked in the Chamber Fly !!! Horrors – Shakespearean Ghosts arise, clouds of stale words whisper. The Dome of Rodders – rather be locked in the Drunk Tank (the only secure home I’ve known).
Besides their Security Detail looks like they came from a Public Bar in South Sydney – not the audience I’m seeking at all.
Might go for White Robes and an Al Fresco number this year.
Best Mark
