I was involved in taking water samples, but obviously not much/any progress has been made in the more than 20 years since! I find that Regional and Central Government are totally not proactive in these matters. I have been interested in and watching water quality issues for 25 years and am distressed to see numerous waterways still poluted and getting worse. GOVERNMENT, get tough on poluters!!

Must be pretty far around the food chain by now..
