Do you leave any money in your savings account BB? Oil will only either appreciate in value or be superceded by better energy sources. Future generations will be able to utilise it far more wisely than we do now.
Imagine if our forebears had burned all the coal in steam engines that were less than 10% energy efficient. We’d have nothing to burn in our 30% energy efficient coal power stations. Why the hurry to dig the “wealth” up and cash it in?
