In my naivety, I thought <i> every </i> 350 event was to involve building sandcastles on a beach, to show the effects of climate change on coastal communities. <i> Must pay more attention </i> It was a great concept though, plenty of drama and people getting wet. Well done the organiser of the Southland event, (he's an occasional contributor to Frogblog btw, a bioneering kinda guy!). Our team made page 2 of the Southland Times with a big photo of our tent succumbing to the waves! Must pay more attention

It was a great concept though, plenty of drama and people getting wet.

If you want to do a bit more than build a sandcastle today, how about pitching a tent well down the beach and have the incoming tide create some dramatic tension.
