Jh Well that depends on your terminology communisn isn’t the same as socialism, they are two entirely different ideologies.
Soviet ‘communisn’ under Stalin was not communism in fact it developed into state capitalism.
Regardless of how one labels the Soviet system it was prety odeous, so I take your point, however that is history.

Today free-market capitalism is taking us back to the 19th century.
Don’t you think that there should be international laws banning drag-net fishing? I don’t know if there is, if there is then is it enforced? The same could apply to toxic waste; What is to stop some rogue moving the above mentioned waste by taking a boat and dumping it out into international waters?

I have read recently that one of the whaling boats in NZ in the 1870′s had slaughtered 3,000 whales in one year, and remember they didn.t have sonar then.
What motivates such behavour? I woul d say it is profiteering and greed.
And there is no way of arguing away fron that fact.
