There has been a lot of mumbling and despondency from political candidates and activists across the political spectrum over vandalized and destroyed billboards and hoardings. So I was delighted when I just spotted this sweet little counterpoint on the Wellingtonista:
We’ve already seen political signs bringing out the worst in people, but check this out: floral tributes to support signs for good political parties:
More please!
Big thanks to whoever is doing this.

Seen the latest poll Greenfly?
It does not seem that the people share your “vision”, and thank goodness for that.

Frog
Do you think that the voting public need to be informed about all of your candidates?
If that is the case then why does the Green party site not have more about this candidate?
Harper, Wendy

List Position: 31
Electorate: Waikato

more info coming soon
I am sure that the people of Waikato need to know that Ms Harper proudly boasts of her “Maoist ideals”.

big bro – you were so wrong with your last ‘heads up’ re Key and Sharples (that turned out well, didn’t it?) that I’m loathe to ask, which poll? Are you running one of your own?

TV One Poll Greenfly, Greens down 3% to 5%.
You guys are leaking votes to Labour, not sure that telling families they are going to be banned from having more than one child is a vote winner.

I suppose you get a wee laugh from your own words, big bro – I’m terrified to think that our poll rating has collapsed to the point where we … will pass the threshold for getting into Parliament! gasp! Those polls – so darn reliable! I’d bet my house on any one of them!

The policy does not say that BB, and you know it.

If we all just ingnored BB -maybe he would go and crawl back under his rock!
Great having flowers around our great billboards.
Some blue ones could do with some just north of where i live – cos John K keeps waking up in the mornings face down on the ground. Even the farmers using strainer posts to hold him up does not seem to deter some ‘tangata whenua’ from using a ‘loud’ saw to chop him down to size.

“Ensure that potential and existing parents have full and free access to countrywide Family Planning services so that informed decisions about the number and spacing of children can be made at the appropriate level, by the parents concerned.”
And who is going to give the advice on these “informed decisions” if not some govt approved family planning service.
I know it is completely foreign to your beliefs but the govt has NO part to play in our families.
The only thing the govt should have to say about families is “if you cannot afford to feed it then do not breed it”.

“I know it is completely foreign to your beliefs but the govt has NO part to play in our families.”
Except of course, when its a part big bro wants government to play:
“The only thing the govt should have to say about families is “if you cannot afford to feed it then do not breed it”.”
Beautiful, twisted logic.
