Nice work by McTap, a bunch of Young Greens and some Frogblog readers, has in two days seen Winston Peters go from zero percent in TVNZ’s online poll on the most trustworthy MP in Parliament, to 36 percent, neck and neck for the lead with John Key. Turia and Sharples have now been belatedly added to the poll after earlier being overlooked, but still no sign of any Greens in the poll. I guess after McTap’s antics we just can’t be trusted.

Go Winston!
If you want to do some quick voting then turn off cookies and they’ll just redisplay the poll.
Also, if you keep having to scroll down to hit the Vote button then rightclick and select This Frame -> Show Only This Frame.
Can we vote on most/least trusted polling organisation?

“Truthiness”, if over done, can come across like tell-tale-tat. What the hell was up with Russel Norman last night on the Backbenchers progamme. I was apalled at his performance – certainly not party leader material. And did he forget, Backbenchers is supposed to be light-hearted, it’s filmed in a pub after all.
Do the greens need to lighten up a bit, to be trustworthy?

Wow! great work young greens and frogbloggers! I don’t consider this action to have been about trust though. TVNZ set the terms of engagement when they excluded Green and Maori party representatives from a poll about trustworthyness. They put the icing on the cake by giving the Maori party a delayed start, with two candidates to split their vote count, unlike other party representative with only one choice, i.e. where was Cullen or English?
TVNZ was practicing blatant injustice, and protest action was called for. Lets see them report the result of their bogus poll now!
