I thought we would hold the line here in NZ on interesting place names for Green revolutions. Not so. There is a by- election on September 8th and it’s all systems go for Mike Nagy of Guelph, Ontario. Mike’s ambition is to be North America’s first Green MP, and we wish him all the luck in the world.
The video is a call for volunteers:
This is the best opportunity that we’ve ever had. We have the focus of a by-election, a great local team, a super location, the starting position of a 20% result in the provincial election last year, and the “moment” in our society. With your help, this campaign will elect Canada’s first Green MP.
