Don’t sniff the broken ones either.
Colbie raised a couple of good points though – many things that are the “green option” are less green when considering the entire life cycle from energy expended and environmental cost in production right through to transportation and packaging, ending in disposal and recycling. A standardized ‘life time’ score on products would be an interesting thing for some-one to agonize over. Is there already a web site doing this?
