Speaking of Crown Cows, although I have no idea whether these were Crown ones or privately owned, I was travelling through State Highway 54 between Feilding and Hunterville a couple of weeks ago, and saw a much larger herd than that depicted in the "Crown Cows" post paddling around in the Rangitikei River.

Pity I didn't have a camera with me, so can't contribute to a dirty dairying photo archive.

frog said: ...Peter Madsen who is threatening to sue a Manawatu journalist for saying his performance on Stars in Their Eyes was like rooster on nitrous oxide.

Well, the more nitrous oxide in Peter Madsen and the less in the atmosphere the better, I guess. Perhaps he should hang out on the dairy farms, collecting up the wees and poos, paddling in the nitrogenous fertiliser runoff, and inhaling their valuable contribution to his performance.

He could even paddle with the Crown Cows in the Manawatu River to maximise his intake.

BTW, I always thought the late Maurice Gibb's voice was extremely nasal, which is probably why he didn't do much of the singing for the Bee Gees.
