Grist covers this points to this Associated Press story that Italian composer Giorgio Battistelli has been commissioned to produce an opera based on Al Gore’s The Inconvenient Truth for the 2011 season at Milan’s La Scala opera house. Hmm, well I guess many in the opera-going stratum don’t watch DVDs?
