Is there anyone out there that wants to start manufacturing some of these Magic Wheels in New Zealand? I think you might have a few pre-sales here on the 8th floor of Bowen House.
Imagine the traffic jams I could leave in my wake going along Jervois Quay.

Or a unicycle with a training wheel,
I especially liked this bit in the blurb
“How do I stop when there is no brake?
Magic Wheel is a flexible fun transportation which works better without a brake. During testing it was discovered that a brake attached to the Magic Wheel actually hindered movements. So if you would like to brake, just simply grab the handle and move away from the board. However, if you feel that a brake is still neccessary, just simply fix the brake to the Magic Wheel.”
Hmm, while stepping away from the board is great when you come to a halt, WTF do you do when you want to simply slow down a bit

You might need to rewrite the road code first. The diameter of the main wheel looks like it’ll be covered by all the rules for cycles and cyclists.

surely tyres are what make the difference- have a skateboard with tyres on the wheels & it will be quieter & smoother than a regular skateboard & without the hazards of a fall being magnified by the ever-present between-the-legs threat
