So, given BB’s ranting about the cost of his household, let’s talk about things he can do to be more efficient, regardless of climate change. How about solar-powered lights? It’s more likely than you might think.

We’re at this point where the general public have been given all the green rhetoric, but not the consequences or real costs of nonsense like carbon trading. The price ticking over on the pump will be the true test of their conviction…

I can tell you that the cost of air conditioning is horrendous, the fuel bill for the SUV’s is going through the roof and now they want me to pay more tax.

Climate change might be something the uninformed have been conned into worrying about but when they are faced with increasing costs you can be sure that they will vote with their wallets.

As soon as they realise that there is nothing WE can do that will make a difference they will start to ask why we insist on penalising ourselves when the major polluters continue as normal, hell they may even do a bit of research and come to the logical conclusion that the whole thing is a con driven by the hard left.

And it sounds extra comical when there’s a SUV parked in the garage, the central heating is on full blast, and all the furniture is imported from Europe. This particular family aren’t a figment of my imagination….

In my experience, it’s also an issue many people like to sound concerned about, but what they do is something else entirely. They’re usually the first to complain when the cost of fuel rises.
