Unscrew America
Catchy title, no? What I really wanted to share was a link to unscrewamerica, a wonderful site that teaches about the wonders (and risks) of Compact Fluorescent Lights, or CFLs. It also has a section on LED lighting.
Before you yawn and click away, follow the link. It is such a clever and cool interface that obviously required a lot of time and attention. Do turn you speakers down before you click…
Hat tip to Climate 411, the blog of Environmental Defense.

You need to click on the lever.
Here are some links to LED bulbs from that site:

I found the site to be wierd and hard to use, but I am using an older computer and an older browser.

You can turn the music off from the bar down the bottom by the way, but you’ll need to click twice.
It’s a pretty cool site and it’s actually pretty funny as well as informative. Really good job. It’s just a pity that its mostly clickless navigation gets a little annoying.
