The economy will go down the drain if we don't celebrate Jesus's birth by buying 'stuff'! I guess there's always something like Oxfam's 'unwrapped' campaign! Or buy someone an experience (like sailing?), or a year pass to...the zoo? Or just coming together and spending time with one another - one of the most precious commodities of all.
