C4 recently started screening the Daily Show, albeit weekly. Another Comedy Central gem that won’t make it this far is the Colbert Report (for the uninitiated, the ‘t’s are silent), in which Stephen Colbert masterfully parodies the American right. Helpfully for those of us in the antipodes, onegoodmove regularly uploads video from both shows, as well as other funny stuff.
Here‘s a clip from the Colbert report about global warming. Enjoy.

I saw it last night. I wouldn’t call it comical – Little Britain is better!

I think the Colbert Report is one of the funniest things ever made. It seems the student has surpassed the master – Colbert used to be a ‘reporter’ on The Daily Show.
Of course, we limit the chance of getting it here. It wouldn’t help us to meet the charter, now would it?

I saw the Daily Show after Cheny shot that lawyer. Funniest thing on TV for ages. Parody of the reasons for going into Iraq.
I just don’t get Little Britain. Seems to be the same jokes over and over again. I wonder if I now feel like what I used to call ‘old farts’ thought about Monty Python?

hmm, I’m trying to maintain a cultural, sporting and economic boycot of the US of Amerika, so I can’t watch any US political satire.
