Go Frog!

I've just quit buying the paper 'cos of the avalanche of pre-christmas recyclables which threaten my poor feet upon opening the informational part of the publication; next on my list is the TV plug, it's just not worth the 2 mins of programming per 10 mins of ad-break...

Anyone for a video-swapping co-op?

Maybe it's time to attack my swim/cycle/walking programme again for the summer.

"Hi" to all the Spring Green Bike Riders in the Wairarapa, the spirit was willing but the rain was bloody cold last night, and the flesh stayed weakly in bed with winter jammies today... :-(
next year?.....

cheers, katie

...Interesting that a company is willing to point you to outlets other than its own...

Well, maybe that's because Trade Aid is a group of charitable trusts, rather than a for-profit compnay.

Hmm, I couldn't see anything on my (admittedly brief) read of the local FAQ about whether "buy nothing" only applied to durable items or if it also included food, drink and services. If the latter is true, then I'm going to be very hungry (not to mention thirsty - it is Friday, after all!) by the end of the day.

This is great - I hope you post more like this in the lead-up to Xmas, where shopping dollars and consumption are all-important.
