Dunedin memorial for Rod

The Dunedin Green Party is inviting the public to join them this Saturday for a tree planting ceremony and weeding session to mark the passing of Rod Donald.

3.00pm, this Saturday, 19 November, Chingford Park, North Rd, in North East Valley, Dunedin. Gather near the Stables in the park shortly before three.

    a tree planting ceremony and weeding working bee sounds entirely fitting as a memorial for Rod, he was a fan of making official party events also have an environmental purpose. For example his 2002 electorate selection meeting was also a weeding around native trees working bee as these photos show…
