At the end of the day, voting based on your values, principles and genuinely held beliefs and convictions is always going to be more commendable than simply based on whim and self-centred drives.

Kudos to whoever fights for the cause they believe in – so long as you respect your opponents’ rights to do the same.

To couch this in such simplistic terms of good versus evil is an insult to those that hold different, but genuine opinions on the best way forward for the country. This stuff is fine on the general partisan blogs, but does not appear statesman like on Frog Blog (IMO).

I will be voting for another party than Red and Green, because I believe that other party will contribute something valuable to the political landscape, and NZ would be the poorer for it should they not make the 5%.

As much as I (strongly) disagree with some (not all) of your policies, the Greens also provide something positive too. Its a responsibility not to be taken lightly. See you on the other side.

Hahaha nice work frog – I like how red and green are the colours of Christmas while blue and black are the colours of bruises.

Perhaps it is symbolic of a National-led government leaving this country bruised and battered, with the vulnerable and disadvantaged members of society being abused by the rich and powerful, while a Labour-Greens coalition will ‘bring Christmas’ to New Zealanders so to speak and ensure a happy, vibrant and socio-economically vibrant nation – a society we can all cherish and celebrate together.
