frogblog, always keen to try new things and improve the service we provide you, will today branch into audioblogging. Wikipedia describes audioblogging as:
A variant on the blogging trend of online self-publishing, using audio to reach the audience instead of text used by traditional blogs. Audioblogs have similar form as blogs, using post-based entries cataloged by time and date. There is usually a title and brief description, but the bulk of content is in the linked audio file.
From now till the election, frogblog will be featuring daily interviews with a Green MP on the campaign trail. The interviews, which we’ll run Monday to Friday, will deal with issues that have arisen that day in the campaign.
Today’s inaugural interview is with Nandor and deals with a speech United leader Peter Dunne gave today about the dangers of a Green/Labour or a National/NZ First Government. If a Green/Labour Government came to power, Peter Dunne warned, several disasters would take place, including:
- Cannabis will be legalised and pseudo methamphetamine or “P downgraded as a serious drug.
- Nandor Tanczos will sit in Cabinet as Attorney-General.
frogblog spoke to Nandor about these claims. The interview is here (mp3, 3.53 mins, 0.91MB). Enjoy.

Good to see someone in politics doing this. Now how about going the whole hog, and add an RSS feed and try podcasting. You’re 90% of the way there anyway. Good work.

I personally would like to see Green members doing “moblogs,” which encompasses audio, video, photos and text from a mobile device.
Wikipedia has an entry for moblog:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moblog
I have begun work on the site http://www.Moblog.co.nz as a place where kiwis can put links to their moblogs in a nationwide directory. I made sure to put a [Political Sites] directory section in the hope that my Green friends would get involved.
I can already imagine tramping trips where Greens do moblogs of their adventures, capturing photos, video, and audio of the landscape on their mobile phones and entering their thoughts along the way.

aha, it turns out that we already have a podcast of the frog audioblog!
Wordpress produces podcast compatible feeds by default.

All you have to do is link to the MP3 somewhere in the story!
So, the podcast feed is at:
